History:  Kendy's father died in the earthquake.  His mother cannot support her children.  Kendy came to HELO on July 1, 2010 after being on our waiting list since January. Kendy had never attended school before coming to HELO.  He is thriving in every way, physically, emotionally, and scholastically.
